It's important to remember that hip safety depends on the correct position of the child in the carrier. It is essential to achieve a deep seat or "M" position, with the child's knees higher than the buttocks, and the weight supported mainly by the buttocks, rather than below the knees.We always recommend consulting your paediatrician or a specialist for recommendations specific to your child's needs!

Check that your baby is in this deep sitting position every time you put him/her in the sling.our slings have been designed with the IHDI guidelines in mind.the IHDI recommends slings that reach the M position to ensure the safety of the hips during babywearing.

What positions can the Twinie. baby carrier be worn in?

FRONTAL, INSIDE FACING(babies of all ages)

BACKPACK(for babies who can sit up on their own)

FRONTAL, OUTSIDE FACING*(only for babies over 6 months who can sit up on their own and are old enough for their chin to be clear of the head support panel)

*Best worn for short periods, up to 20 minutes. Always turn the baby inwards when sleeping.

At what age can a baby carrier be used?

The Twinie Mona baby carrier is designed for toddlers from 7lbs (or when the baby can be carried safely with an open airway) and up to 3 years, or 33lbs. It's ideal for accompanying your growing child and helping them explore the world with you.

How do I properly adjust the baby carrier to ensure my child's comfort and safety?

To ensure both comfort and safety:

  • Adjust the straps snugly around your shoulders and waist for even weight distribution.
  • Make sure your child is seated in the ergonomic position, with their knees higher than their hips in the "M" shape.
  • Double-check that all buckles and fastenings are securely clipped and tightened.

Is the baby carrier machine washable?

Yes, the Twinie carrier is machine washable. We recommend using a gentle cycle with cold water and air-drying to maintain its quality and durability.

What is the duration of the warranty, and what does it cover?

The Twinie baby carrier comes with a 1-year warranty. It covers manufacturing defects such as faulty buckles, stitching, or material issues. Wear and tear from regular use is not included.
